Hello, everyone. I am Wei Zhang.

I have studied and worked in the library and information science for the last ten years so that I have a strong feeling about the field.

Now I am an intern at the Health Sciences Library, McMaster University. Last term I worked for the Engineering and Science Library, Queen’s University as an intern. I believe this would be a starting point for me to pursue a professional academic librarianship in North America.

Before entering the MLIS program, I had lived in China for twenty nine years. I got my B.A. and M.S. in information science. And I had three and half years of experience in working at several libraries in China, such as an academic library, a science library and a children’s library.

I enjoy working in academic enviroments. Software has been involved in the librarians' daily work, for example, making a couse guide, setting up kinds of information instruction spaces.

I have set up my MSN space for one year. I published personal information and photos in that space.

Hope we have a good time in learning new knowledge in the visual space.
